Life is a race itself but what if race became life as well? As for two young guys who had different purpose when they entered a race but will they have a different conclusion? As for one, he is a triad member so racing was a way to survive when someone challenged. He has no choice but to accept the challenge in order to maintain his status as a leader, to keep the respect from his brothers, and to keep his territory. For the other one, his wealthy life is not enough and he still feels empty. He is looking for something to fill in the emptiness and it happened to be racing.


First racing was just a fun game, and then it got more exciting with a few bets there a few challenges here. It became more serious and dangerous when it became a protector of lives. Many have entered. Some left with terrible results, some never get a chance to leave at all and barely anyone could stand strong. But that was business. What about personal?


The two young men found each other as a challenger in the racing game. Well not until a sweet young lady entered in their eyes and in their lives. She brought them joy, she brought them laughter but also with her, she brought death. Who would be able to stand strong and left the race with glory in the racing of love? What would one do to fight for the woman he loves? What would one do when racing wasn’t a simple game anymore as it once never was?


She didn’t know what she would do when both of them were seriously in love with her. She was confused herself sometimes that her feeling for them somehow indistinguishable. Was he the one she longed for? Or was he the one that her heart called out for? What would she do when they decided to solve the situation in the racetrack? She didn’t want to lose him.

19 years ago a life changed. Kelly Chung was your average girl, fresh out of high school and preparing a college life, full of parties and studying. As she was returning from a late night study group Kelly was assaulted and raped. She hide this from all her family and friends, not wanting to be tainted in their eyes. A few months passed, and Kelly moved on with her life. Continuing as always, never letting it show that she was deeply worried. Because of that one night, she was now pregnant. Her first reaction was to have an abortion, but deep down she couldn't willingly kill something so innocent as a child. So she decided to have the baby. She knew she could never deal with having a child on her own, she thought heavily on giving her baby up for adoption.


When Kelly gave birth to a healthy baby girl, she realized then that she couldn't give her up. Kelly named her baby girl, Gillian. For years Kelly raised Gillian on her own, struggling through life as a single mother.


Gillian grew up never feeling truly loved. She always felt that she brought bad memories to her mother whenever she was around. As she got older Gillian grew cold and cruel. Never feeling loved, she hated the rest of the world for having something she never could.


Now, 19 years later, Gillian is almost all grown up. Now a cold, uncaring person she is coming to terms with her past and now her future. Will her cold behavior push away the very person who could prove that she is lovable? Or will he be able to break her of her coldness and bring her the one thing she always desired, love.

The existence of sorrows fetched ones to be stronger, but yet, determined ones’ weaknesses. Love can be whatever you think of it. It can cure your sufferings and loneliness, and bring joy to your everyday lifestyle, or it can be of headaches and bring an individual down with depressions. But whatever it is, if you cannot take that road, take another. Love can come as quick, and take forever to leave, but no matter what, there are so much more to life than just thinking about the past and the scar it left behind.


As if his existence in life is to cause pain and misery, would love reach into his deep soul? He thought that love wasn’t meant for him, but she proved him wrongly. Her gaze is just like any ordinary young woman, but yet it captured his heart toxically.


Her ambition is to imprison him under the unbreakable commandments. Somehow, somewhere, or somewhat, someway, her heart tumbled infatuated under his temperaments. She is dangerously in love with him.


She bargained. She was confused between the affection and sympathy she had for him. To prove the puzzlement, she carelessly ended their love. The bitter love and the tendered kisses terminated mutually. Once again, their love will forever remained as the “Lethal Affection”.
